Hello, I'm Materialscientist. I noticed that you made a change to an article, ferret, but you didn't provide a reliable source. I’ve removed it for now, but if you’d like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so! If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks, Materialscientist (talk) 01:52, 17 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

August 2012[edit]

Please do not add unreferenced or poorly referenced information, especially if controversial, to articles or any other page on Wikipedia about living persons, as you did to Joey Barton with this edit. Thank you. Jschnur (talk) 02:13, 17 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Jerry Lawler[edit]

Hi. Welcome to Wikipedia, and thanks for working to improve the site with your edit to Jerry Lawler, as we really appreciate your participation. Here's a few tips:

  • Proper nouns, such as the names of months, should be capitalized. Correct and incorrect date formatting styles can be found in the little tale at WP:DATESNO.
  • Editors should not sign their edits. Signatures should only be used on talk pages.
  • Sites with user-generated content, such as fan sites, blogs, imdb, open wikis or social networking sites like Facebook cannot be used as sources under Wikipedia:USERG, unless, in the case of a Facebook profile, it is independently verified to be the official one belonging to the subject, as with a link on their official website (or in the case of Twitter, a blue check mark on the Twitter page that indicates that the account is authentic).

If you have any other questions about editing, or need help regarding the site's policies, just let me know by leaving a message for me in a new section at the bottom of my talk page. Thanks. :-) Nightscream (talk) 15:32, 13 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]
