WP:AFD/Spots (cannabis)[edit]

On this AFD discussion page, you have wrongfully accused me of acting out of bad faith. I am somewhat offended, but I am attempting not to take it personally. I apologize if it seems I have a vendetta against the article, or cannabis users in general. Honestly, I simply don't find the subject notable enough for its own article. I think it would be a very good entry in a larger article about cannabis consumption, though. I would like to reiterate the same. Also, allow me to blatantly violate WP:CIVIL for a moment, because I am fucking sick of this shit. There are certain very stoned people on Wikipedia who falsely assume that just because I oppose certain unsourced crud on Wikipedia, that I am some straight-laced person who has never touched a joint. Listen, I've been to college, and let me tell you, I tried just about everything that didn't involve a needle. It is fucked up that people assume otherwise. I think some of this material needs a mention on Wikipedia, but the problem with a whole article on some of these topics is that it is very hard to find reliable sources, so the page just ends up being a bunch of people blogging about the crazy shit they thought up to smoke stuff. It's all word-of-mouth and not very encyclopedic.

There seems to be a perception that either you are in favor of filling Wikipedia with D00D LETZ GET STONED! articles, or else you are a DEA agent. That is crap, and I'm really sick of it. --Jaysweet (talk) 02:57, 20 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I won't hold it against you, since you had the good faith to apologize. However, I would like to ask you a question or two, and ask that you answer honestly. Are you this user? Or are you a friend or acquaintance of that user? You've already admitted to being a meatpuppet("...but I am friends in RL with that user, that's how the article being up for deletion came to my attention in the first place."), though I don't think you're acting out of bad faith. In fact, on behalf of Wikipedia, I welcome you here, and hope that you decide to stay. Still, you didn't answer my question. Do you know if anyone else is a friend of that IP?

Anyway, the lack of citations and How-to-ish feel of Spots (cannabis) has been fixed, in my opinion. The big problem now is world-wide notability(to establish it as worthy of a standing article) and, to a lesser extent, the lack of real content.
