The file File:Giovanni Brusca arrest.jpg has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Decorative use of a a non-free image in Giovanni Brusca#Arrest. The reader does not need to see Brusca being held by police to understand that he was arrested per WP:NFCC#1 and a non-free image is being used in the main infobox for identification purposes so this is not need for that reason per WP:NFCC#3a; moreover, this particular image itself is not the subject of any sourced critical commentary within the relevant section, so the context required by WP:NFCC#8 is also lacking. The event of the arrest may be have been historic or noteworthy, but as explained in WP:ITSHISTORIC that does not automatically make this a historic photo, unless reliable sources are cited which specifically discuss the photo as such.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated files}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the file's talk page.

Please consider addressing the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated files}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. Please stop erasing my edits on this page outlining the historical and religious background of the Dutch Revolt. You are evidently completely ignorant of the Dutch reformation and the theological bases of the Dutch Revolt. You are clearly a Marxist in your views of history, and have no understanding at all of the Dutch Revolt. You are also demonstrating an anti-Christian bias in your editing. The Dutch Revolt

Please forgive me for seeming uncivil. But everyone of you that are involved in disputing my additions to the wikipedia article are clearly ignorant of the Dutch Revolt, and are just interested in promoting your own atheistic revisionist view of history. I don't even think any of you teach the subject at the college level. I suggest you allow those who actually know the subject and teach it at both undergraduate and Master's level courses be the one's to decide the contents of this article. It would also be helpful if any of you were actually Protestant and Reformed as well; because of course, the Dutch Revolt was a part of the Protestant Reformation. To be sure, leaving my additions out are just as absurd and anti-Christian as writing an article on the German Reformation and blotting out all references to Martin Luther, Philip Melanchthon, and the Augsburg Confession. So I suggest once again, please keep to editing subjects that you are at least proficient in.
