I see the page as redundant to Card manipulation; this is especially true after you have trimmed it so much that it no longer contains any more information than the other article. (It could be merged; but it seems to be a partisan fork. All right, some people perform card manipulation not as a conjuring trick, but just as a show of manual dexterity; this by itself doesn't make it an independent topic, but rather worth a brief mention in the main article. The information about flourishes and the like [which you have removed] could be merged as well, if it already isn't there.) - Mike Rosoft (talk) 18:07, 12 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Removing pretty much all mentions of card manipulation as a conjuring trick certainly isn't the way to merge the pages. I have reverted your edits. - Mike Rosoft (talk) 18:02, 16 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

  • Maybe, but the original title of the page was card magic, from where it was moved to Card manipulation, apparently without discussion. The scope of the article is still the same: card manipulation as a conjuring trick, perhaps even as a general entertainment or a show of skill; shuffling is outside the scope of the article. - Mike Rosoft (talk) 18:53, 17 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]
