Please do not add promotional material to Wikipedia, as you did to Google Buzz. While objective prose about products or services is acceptable, Wikipedia is not intended to be a vehicle for advertising or promotion. Thank you. — HelloAnnyong (say whaaat?!) 17:15, 1 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

The information posted for Google Buzz is not a promotion. It is fact based on public domain web information. objective prose about products or services is acceptable, . Thank you. — HelloDruidswok (Please do not tag other people's content for delete when it is not necessary a objective review. If socialwok is tag for delete when all the material on it is facts. You can delete material from all the startups in the social media space!) 17:15, 1 March 2010 (UTC)

A tag has been placed on Socialwok, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read the guidelines on spam as well as Wikipedia:FAQ/Business for more information. You may also wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles - see the Article Wizard.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. — HelloAnnyong (say whaaat?!) 17:17, 1 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop. If you continue to add promotional material to Wikipedia, as you did to Google Buzz, you will be blocked from editing. — HelloAnnyong (say whaaat?!) 02:55, 2 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Advertising[edit]

Let me explain this a little more clearly. You've gone around to a number of articles - namely Google Apps and Google Buzz and repeatedly added text about your Socialwok application. The fact is that you can't go around doing that. For one, it violates WP:ADVERT, Wikipedia's policy on advertisements. You cannot use these articles as a place to promote your site. You've already got an article for the product, so adding more links to it is both disruptive and redundant. On top of all that, you're doing this without any sources or references attached to them - and per WP:V, text on Wiki should be backed up by references.

I don't know what your affiliation with the product is, but I'm pretty sure you pose a conflict of interest, so you should familiarize yourself with those rules as well. Either way, stop going around and adding that promotional text to various articles. — HelloAnnyong (say whaaat?!) 03:04, 2 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Amy, the information added to Google Apps is based mainly on Solutions Marketplace of which Socialwok is a third party application related to that. These are facts and I have listed the third party links to substantiate them. I am not sure what is your issue with that?

As for Google Buzz, the information added about the social protocols can be substantiated from Google's own pages and Socialwok is one of the companies that support these social protocols just like other companies microsoft and yahoo have done that i added to the same article. Again, these are pure facts that have been substantiated by url. I would again like to request how you can just base your edits on your own personal judge and instead not flag it for other people to edit out. You are the only person to remove the facts related to social protocols and solution marketplace.Druidswok]] (say whaaat?!) 03:04, 2 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

By the way, thanks for stealing my signature on here. That's really unappreciated. Please change your sig so it's different than mine. — HelloAnnyong (say whaaat?!) 12:53, 2 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I have nominated Socialwok, an article that you created, for deletion. I do not think that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Socialwok. Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time.

Please contact me if you're unsure why you received this message. — HelloAnnyong (say whaaat?!) 03:09, 2 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
