Hi. You might notice that I blocked this account, and then unblocked it a few minutes later. The reason for the unblock is that you've been a productive editor, and so that you can more easily request a username change.

The reason I blocked you in the first place is that the username is unacceptable. It implies that this account belongs to ERS publications as a whole. This implication may have been what you intended, but that's not allowed: any given Wikipedia account is only to be used by one individual person. If at any time, you and ERS go your separate ways, the account is not to be passed to your successor or replacement; it is to go with you. You can still make full disclosure as to your involvement with ERS, but a simple statement on your userpage, to the effect that "I work at the publications office of the European Respiratory Society" or some such, will be enough.

To request that your username be changed, go here and follow the instructions; most requests are implemented within a few days.

Thank you, and I apologize for the inconvenience. DS (talk) 14:10, 14 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]
