Welcome[edit]

Hello Edeshields and welcome to Wikipedia. I saw your comments at Talk:Credit counseling and thought they were very good. Feel free to make your suggested changes in the article on Credit counseling.

While I am at it, here are a few more good links for newcomers:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian!

Christians Against Poverty[edit]

You recently removed this link from the credit counselling article. I wish to make you aware of two facts:

1. Christians Against Poverty is not, repeat NOT a commercial organisation, nor is their website a commercial one. The organisation is strictly non-profit making and a registered charity in the United Kingdom.

2. You are in breach of the Wikipedia principle that assumes the good faith of the editor/contributor. You simply removed the link without any attempt to research the issue or contact the editor.

Rather than simply "tit-for-tat", I am writing to inform you that I am restoring the link for the above reasons. If you still wish it to be removed, please quote the policy you are invoking and proof that the link contravenes it. Headshaker 13:58, 27 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

== Image:Community Empower logo.gif listed for deletion ==
Dear uploader: The media file you uploaded as Image:Community Empower logo.gif has been listed for speedy deletion because you selected a copyright license type implying some type of restricted use, such as for non-commercial use only, or for educational use only or for use on Wikipedia by permission. While it might seem reasonable to assume that such files can be freely used on Wikipedia, a non-profit website, this is in fact not the case. Please do not upload any more files with these restrictions on them, because content on Wikipedia needs to be compatible with the GNU Free Documentation License, which allows anyone to use it for any purpose, commercial or non-commercial.

If you created this media file and want to use it on Wikipedia, you may re-upload it (or amend the image description if it has not yet been deleted) and use the license {{GFDL-self}} to license it under the GFDL, or {{cc-by-sa-2.5}} to license it under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike license, or use {{PD-self}} to release it into the public domain.

If you did not create this media file but want to use it on Wikipedia, there are two ways to proceed. First, you may choose one of the fair use tags from this list if you believe one of those fair use rationales applies to this file. Second, you may want to contact the copyright holder and request that they make the media available under a free license.

If you have any questions please ask at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you. —Pilotguy (ptt) 17:19, 27 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I have added a "{{prod}}" template to the article Credit Education, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but I don't believe it satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and I've explained why in the deletion notice (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may contest the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page. Also, please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. --HughCharlesParker (talk - contribs) 22:03, 25 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]
