Template:Prod

I have added a "{{prod}}" template to the article Hall Cricket, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but I don't believe it satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and I've explained why in the deletion notice (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may contest the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on [[Talk:Template:Prod|its talk page]]. Also, please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. -- microchip08 20:29, 12 May 2007 (UTC)

You argued, "article is of a made up game which is not played extensively, yet gives the impression of being "real"." All games are made up and come into existence at some point in time. It is true it is not played extensively. It is however a real game. I will adjust the Wikipedia article to remove the humour which is what you are objecting to.

"Also copied and pasted from another wiki (www.bluwiki.com)." The original was written in another Wiki that allowed me write the article over a number of days. That wiki however open is very small and seems is not a general encyclopedia.

"Non encylopaedic." I will try and add references of all the articles on Hall Cricket. Stranglely there were a number of article in the mid to late 90s in Leeds and across the North of England on the game.

I argue that size does not matter. It is a game that was played a reasonable number of people in the university town of Leeds. What is genius about the game was that the equipment needed to play is readily available to anyone so stops. Is is a completely non-commercial game in much the same vein that was portrayed in the film BASEketball.
