Hey, I'm not sure if this is how to type your username (FNB?) but if not, then you probably won't see this message anyways. I don't want to say my real name for security purposes (or yours), but chances are you know who I am if this is your account. If you don't know, sorry for the cryptic message, feel free to delete it. What articles have you edited so far? Do you need anymore pointers? And most importantly, where can I find info on that concert in March? The Ungovernable Force 04:56, 24 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Your message was fine. BTW, do you know how to watch and unwatch articles? If not, tell me, because it is helpful. Also, you can sign your name by typing four tildes like so: "~~~~". It's the button to the left of "1" while holding shift. It will display your username and the date and time you made the edit. Very helpful. The Ungovernable Force 02:30, 25 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Also, in terms of how to talk, when you are on any page, just click on the tab up above that says "discussion" and then if you want to add anything, click the "edit this page" tab. Pretty easy. Also, when you are editing a page, there is a little line below the main field that says "edit summary". If you want, you can type something in there to explain why you are making an edit. If the edit is minor (such as fixing a typo) you can check the box that says "this is a minor edit", but only do that if it really is minor. Any serious content changes marked as minor may be viewed as dishonest at best and vandalism at worst. If you are not sure how an edit will turn out, click on the "show preview" button, so you can see what it will look like when it is formatted on the page. Just be sure to click "save page" once you are satisfied. To watch a page, click on the tab up above that says "watch". This tab is only visible if you are logged in. The page will be put on your watchlist, which you can access by clicking the "my watchlist" link at the top of the page (only visible when logged in). The page will show you the most recent changes to all the pages you have watched. Usually, you want to watch pages you are working on a lot or you want to know if someone responded to a message you left them (I have your userpage and talk page on my watchlist). If you watch a page, the talk page is automatically watched too (and visa versa). I am also watching the anarchism page because I am involved with it and as I have mentioned, there is a serious edit war going on. Oh, btw, never revert a page to a previous version more than 3 times a day, otherwise you may be blocked temporarily and be accused of edit warring. That's all for now, if you need any more pointers (or want to talk) drop me a line on my talkpage or here. Also, if you want, I can show you how to use and find userboxes, as well as how to make simple ones. The Ungovernable Force 02:54, 25 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Get Involved in Combating the Wiki-Police State[edit]

You probably don't know about this, but if you have seen my userpage you probably saw all the little boxes with political opinions in them. They are called userboxes, and some admins here are deleting as many as they can. I just created one that you might want to put on your page.

This user is opposed to the Wiki-Police State and the rampant deletion of userboxes.

. Just type exactly what I typed to create this image, (the words with {{}} around them) on your userpage, which you haven't started yet. If you want more userboxes, ask me about them. See ya sunday. The Ungovernable Force 07:01, 18 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I authorize the user templates on my page. FNB 20:44, 19 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]
