I agree that such a hybrid is very much unlikely (genetically) to have ever existed (although it could still slip in the news in the late 1800s when readers knew nothing about genetics). I don't know about deleting the page entirely. I think maybe the article should just be re-framed as being about a rumored animal like this article on the maltese tiger (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Maltese_tiger), and discussing the genetic unlikelihood of it in a tab. Alternatively, the information could be moved the "panthera hybrid" page, also with the rumored animal framing.FelineLover (talk) 07:15, 27 September 2019 (UTC)
