I am sorry if I had angered you by deletion of your article. Many articles about non-notable people are created every day; to address this problem, the speedy deletion criterion A7 has been created - articles making no claim of notability about its subject.

For general notability criteria for people, see WP:BIO, for specific criteria for singers, musicians, bands and other ensembles, see WP:MUSIC. A statement that "Kristi Warner is an up and coming country music artist" is pretty much a statement that she doesn't meet the notability guidelines (yet).

Meeting one part of the criteria is enough for an article to be kept. For example, one criterion is that the musician "has released two or more albums on a major label or one of the more important indie labels". According to your article, Kristi Warner has released only one album, and it didn't say on what label (no details about the "major label endorsement" you have mentioned on my talk page). Having music available on iTunes is probably not enough, either - anybody can publish music on the Internet.

If you disagree with the speedy deletion, you may contest it at deletion review. Regards, Mike Rosoft 07:34, 3 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]
