I'm on my college's IP address, think a softblock could be used instead?

You need to give more information - what the IP is, who the blocking admin is, and, if applicable, the autoblock ID # and the user who is causing your block. If you do not wish to post this online, you may email it to unblock-en-l@lists.wikimedia.org. If you are referring to 195.194.148.2, it is already blocked anon only, so that block is not stopping you from editing. You may be autoblocked, though, as a result of another user on that IP, in which case we need the autoblock ID to fix it. --B (talk) 14:30, 18 January 2008 (UTC)
