Welcome
[edit]Hello, Jennyinthesky, and Welcome to Wikipedia! Thanks for your contributions. We hope that you like this place and decide to stay.
Here are some helpful tips for newcomers:
- Always sign your posts on talk pages. This can be accomplished by typing three tildes (~~~) after your comments. If you use four, you can add the date and time too. If you know HTML, you can customize your signature by clicking the "my preferences" link at the top of the page. Always sign your comments on talk pages. Never sign articles.
- You may want to create a user page. You can use this page to tell other users about yourself, make a list of the articles you've contributed to, add links to websites you like, and for testing wiki markup. If you're not sure where to begin, try picking out some userboxes for yourself to get started. If you do not wish to have a user page, then please redirect it to your user talk page (here) rather than leaving it blank. This will save everybody an extra click ;-).
- Check out the manual of style to see how wiki markup works. Don't worry, it's not that hard to learn!
- Always remember to fill in the edit summary field when editing articles.
- If you are not a native speaker of English, check out this page.
- If you have a specific area of interest or expertise, consider joining a WikiProject about it.
Here are a few links that you might find helpful:
