Thanks for uploading Image:Img 2381.jpg. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

Your image uploads[edit]

When you upload an image, please transclude the copyright template. In other words, just type {{PD-self}}. Please do not subst or copy/paste the template source code. When you copy/paste the code, it incorrectly adds the image to Category:Image copyright tags and potentially causes problems down the line if ever there is a legal or design reason that the text on the tag needs to be modified. File:Syracuse WFW Transport-Center.jpg is now available on Wikimedia Commons as Commons:File:Syracuse WFW Transport-Center.jpg. This is a repository of free media that can be used on all Wikimedia wikis. The image will be deleted from Wikipedia, but this doesn't mean it can't be used anymore. You can embed an image uploaded to Commons like you would an image uploaded to Wikipedia, in this case: [[File:Syracuse WFW Transport-Center.jpg]].
