Thank you for your contributions at Alférez FAP Vladimir Sara Bauer Airport and its talk page.
You have taken a great deal of trouble to raise your concerns in the correct manner, and I as an administrator of English Wikipedia appreciate this very much, and thank you on behalf of the Wikipedia community.
Unfortunately, I doubt that the page can be renamed as you wish. What is needed is evidence that the name you propose is widely used in English, and the evidence so far seems to indicate that the incorrect name is more widely used. Our policy in such cases is to use the incorrect name as the article title.
I am happy to discuss the reasons for this policy if you wish, and to help you to propose either a change to the policy or an exception in this case if you wish, in view of the sensitive nature of the issue. But I must say that I see no hope of either succeeding. I may of course be wrong in this assessment.
I sympathise with your concern, and have, as you will see, set up redirects from the correct name. These are entirely within policy so far as I know. Do they address your concerns, at least partially? I will try to think of other ways in which I can help.
The best way is to correct the many other users of the incorrect name. Wikipedia will certainly follow this change of usage if it can be achieved. I imagine you are already working towards this end, and am truly sorry if Wikipedia is an obstacle to the process, but cannot at this moment see how to prevent it being so.
