Periods and quotation marks

In your edit of Break key, you wrote that "Periods ALWAYS go inside the quotation marks." This seems to be in violation of Wikipedia:Manual of Style#Quotation marks, which advises to "put the punctuation mark inside the quotation marks only if the sense of the punctuation mark is part of the quotation".
