@Cyberpower678: I reviewed some of the bot's dead link-fixed. Please have a look, specially for those which I marked in bold. (tJosve05a (c) 04:01, 29 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

I fixed (a) already and to address (b) and (c), the bot cannot efficiently detect whether a link is truly dead or not when consensus states that the checker is to be shut off for the trial at least. The verifier isn't very accurate as there are countless ways a link could be dead that the bot could easily miss. It would be something to further develop in the future. Same goes for (c), archive.org already attempts to filter out the bad ones, but it's not always right either, and the bot couldn't possible be expected to determine if an archive is good or not. And then comes checks, and how long they take, which slows the bot down. The bot needs to be able to crawl through 11 million articles, in a timely fashion.—cyberpowerChat:Online 12:39, 29 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]
