Please stop littering wikipedia with sayings from people nobody has ever heard of. Thank you. - DavidWBrooks 13:40, 11 February 2006 (UTC)
I'm sorry if I sounded harsh. I have removed your additions because they were placed in general articles (such as aphorism) that were presenting an overview of a very widespread topic. Only information that is already well-known and important should be included in such articles, or else they will become unreadably monstrous - obviously, if every single person who ever wrote down an aphorism was allowed to contribute their sayings to the article, it would swamp the servers. Your additions were not from well-known people; it looked very much as if you were trying to use wikipedia to try to make' them well-known. I'm sorry if it seems as if wikipedia is "only for celebrities" but that's the way it works. Obvioulsy, if you become well known then others may decide you should be added to the article. - DavidWBrooks 16:44, 11 February 2006 (UTC)
