December 2014[edit]

Information icon Hello, I'm Jeffro77. Wikipedia is written by people who have a wide diversity of opinions, but we try hard to make sure articles have a neutral point of view. Your recent edit to Jehovah's Witnesses seemed less than neutral to me, so I removed it for now. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. --Jeffro77 (talk) 05:29, 26 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please do not add commentary or your own personal analysis to Wikipedia articles, as you did to Jehovah's Witnesses. Doing so violates Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy and breaches the formal tone expected in an encyclopedia. Thank you.--Jeffro77 (talk) 05:46, 26 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Do not assert theological opinions in articles as if they are facts!--Jeffro77 (talk) 05:50, 26 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Warning icon Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to violate Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy by adding commentary and your personal analysis into articles, you may be blocked from editing. --Jeffro77 (talk) 07:03, 26 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. It may be that you require some clarification in regard to why your edits are inappropriate. Whilst you are referring to a source, it is a primary source expressing a theological opinion held by Jehovah's Witnesses, and this does not represent a neutral point of view. This is not appropriate for a secular encyclopedia. Whilst Jehovah's Witnesses—or members of any religion—may believe that their group is in some way unique, or that it has some special origin that is separate to what is recognised in secular sources, that isn't appropriate here. Thanks.--Jeffro77 (talk) 07:23, 26 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]
