Random Article update

Have you read the latest two comments on the subject in (proposals) section? Those guys sound like they want to go in another direction completely - stastical analysis on a professional scale- although both also at least favour the idea of a second button in principle - crazy - all I'm suggesting is a simple sampling of Random Article content. I'll email you the sheet shortly. BTw how do I email you when I dont see an email link on your page? MarkDask 00:12, 30 August 2010 (UTC)

Email is enabled so not sure why you cant see the E-mail this user link. Mo ainm~Talk 21:04, 30 August 2010 (UTC)

Yo Mo ainm - I've listed 10 ugliest ducklings on the (proposals) page and I'm asking all contributors so far to comment on them. I couldn't send u the sheet but my list of 10 pretty much make the point - I hope you agree. MarkDask 17:38, 5 September 2010 (UTC)

re edit of comment about what mandelson said

re edit of comment about what mandelson said about fredom fighters - I think if you read what Mandy said my version is much more accurate than the one currently in place. Current version suggests that he was saying that post 1997 the IRA should be regarded ad freedom fighters. He said no such thing. He was drawing a contrast between terrorists and freedom fighters (talking about Al Quaeda) when he was aked about Gerry Adams (Sinn Fein, not IRA, remember) and he said (and repeatedly said) that he would not like to label Gerry, and that he did not regard the IRA as freedom fighters.

Current version is not accurate, my version is closer to correct interpretation of what Mandelson said. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.167.114.108 (talk) 15:02, 6 September 2010 (UTC)

Random Article Analysis

Hey Mo ainm - have you seen this page? [Random Article Test]. What chance of changing anything when so much research has already been disregarded. MarkDask 03:56, 12 September 2010 (UTC)

Information taken down about Prime Theory

Hi

Why do you keep taking this article down. Prime Theory is now becoming a well know theory in the academic world and the author of the Theory, Robert West, has asked me to put this up. Don't you want relevant, up-to-date information or am I missing something??? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Britishwebsites (talkcontribs)

Because it is a Copyright violation Mo ainm~Talk 18:16, 18 September 2010 (UTC)

Please don't remove the deletion tag, player fails Wikipedia:Notability_(sports)#Association_football and page has been deleted several times. —Half Price 20:09, 19 September 2010 (UTC)

Article has already gone to AfD and failed it! Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Alex Kacaniklic. —Half Price 20:16, 19 September 2010 (UTC)
Well then you are using the wrong speedy tag. Mo ainm~Talk 20:18, 19 September 2010 (UTC)
What should I have used? (Page has now been deleted btw). —Half Price 20:20, 19 September 2010 (UTC)
Either {{db-g4}}, {{db-repost}} Mo ainm~Talk 20:23, 19 September 2010 (UTC)
Ah, didn't see that one. It was still a valid tag though. Player fails WP's notability guidelines – end of. —Half Price 20:25, 19 September 2010 (UTC)
Not really the speedy tag you used was for no credible indication of notability by saying he was signed for Fulham was at least an indication that he could be notable, but not playing a game for them he doesn't meet WP:FOOTY guidelines, slightly different. I have speedy tagged articles and just because there was a mention even if unsourced declaring notability it was turned down and had to take it to AfD, I was in the process of adding the correct tags when it was deleted. Maybe if he gets a game the article can be re created. Mo ainm~Talk 20:31, 19 September 2010 (UTC)
I saved a copy of the one which was deleted at AfD. It doesn't say much, but you can see it here. Feel free to add. —Half Price 16:30, 20 September 2010 (UTC)

Hi. As you recently commented in the straw poll regarding the ongoing usage and trial of Pending changes, this is to notify you that there is an interim straw poll with regard to keeping the tool switched on or switching it off while improvements are worked on and due for release on November 9, 2010. This new poll is only in regard to this issue and sets no precedent for any future usage. Your input on this issue is greatly appreciated. Off2riorob (talk) 23:41, 20 September 2010 (UTC)

You contributed to this article before. It needs some more work as it is threatened with deletion.AMuseo (talk) 15:26, 26 September 2010 (UTC)
