First of all, I would like to say that I find your (and your group's) goal to promote 7 Seeds to an English audience admirable indeed. Wikipedia needs editors like you who are both passionate and knowledgeable. Personally, I have never read the manga (which probably explains why you found some of my edits on the plot summaries strange). I have been doing some minor infobox maintenance work on anime and manga articles lately and that is how I stumbled upon the 7 Seeds article. I am not what you would call an involved editor, but I would be very happy to help you where I can.

One thing you need to keep in mind when editing is that Wikipedia has a vast manual of style that sets some rules on how articles should be structured and what kind of information should be featured. This manual is designed to keep a certain consistency between articles. You can also find a more specific manual of style for anime and manga articles here and a list of quality articles you can base the 7 Seeds article on here. Wikipedia also has a policy on spoilers, in answer to your question. There was a time when spoilers were tagged, but not any more.

I removed "josei" from the genre list because that is not a genre, but rather a demographic. Demographics refer to the target audience of the work, whereas genres would be categories like "action" or "romance". You will find both "shoujo" and "josei" listed on the demographic field a little further down the infobox.

As far as the summaries and the catchphrase are concerned, I did some tweaking because it is important to keep an encyclopedic tone in all articles and those bits sounded too much like an advertisement to me. Although the 300 word limit on volume summaries is policy, you can get away with writing something a little longer, as long as it is not excessively so and does not go into too much detail that would be considered interesting for fans of the series only. Just look at the list of featured anime and manga articles above for examples.

As for your suggestion to add images for the covers of each volume, Wikipedia has a strict policy regarding the use of images and, more specifically, non-free use content. I'm afraid that to use so many non-free images in one article would be illegal.

Hello, NatsuX,

I looked over the changes you've made to the table and went ahead and added the fanbook's release date and ISBN code for you. I find that it now has a little too much blank space. Once you add to the plot summaries, the table won't look as "squished" as it does now. It will also help if the break lines between volumes have a more visually striking colour, like 009 for example. About the cover images, until you get official permission from Shogakukan to add the rest of them, perhaps it would be best to leave the one from the first volume hidden as well? It seems unjustified to have the same image appear twice in the same article at this point. Do you need help with the romaji for the chapter titles or can you find it somewhere?

Hello again,

I completely understand your reasoning in regards to the addition of free space. The only problem, really, is that it's not complying with the general style/look of Wikipedia. I'm not 100% sure if there's anything specific in the manual of style against it, but I suspect so, since I've never seen it done in other articles and Wikipedia offers options to adjust the look of its pages according to user preference that might cease to function properly with this forced presentation. Still, I will leave it be for now.

Here's a table with RGB colour codes. As for the image options, take a look at this page. It's all there.

I'll try to take a look at the production section and add the Japanese romaji sometime soon. :)

Hello, NatsuX.

I've done what I can to add the Japanese readings of the chapter titles. As far as the 'Rainwater chapter' titles are concerned, I don't know enough of the language to determine the correct readings, so I left them blank. Some of the title translations appeared to be off to me (though I'm far from fluent), so it would probably be best if you verified them against your sources. It wouldn't be the first time official translations differed from the original, but it doesn't hurt to check.

About the links: I'm not sure what the cleanest-looking solution might be either. Have you considered placing them on footnotes rather than on the table itself? It would give you some room to write in the information.

I was a little confused about the purpose of your questions. Are you looking for reliable sources to support some statement or expand the article? If so, perhaps the custom search engine from WP:A&M/RS can help you look for such resources. As stated in WP:RS, "Articles should be based on reliable, third-party, published sources with a reputation for fact-checking and accuracy."

Hi. I'm sorry, I don't know how to help you with something like that. Perhaps some sort of online petition? It seems to me, though, that there is no avoiding the disclosure of certain personal information about the participants if you want to demonstrate that they are actual people rather than names created to thicken that list.

You had the ref name parameter set equally in both volumes, that's why Wikipedia was treating it as the same reference. All fixed now.

Good job on adding to the character section. The only thing that does not look as good is that there are a lot of animals with a one line description (short descriptions would indicate little relevance in the manga, therefore it could be seen as fancruft). How about grouping these characters together under headers like "Aramaki's pack", "Team Autumn's animals"?
