New Rule: NUDE[edit]

Where would I propose a new rule: NUDE (No Undo on Dead Editors)? - Doug Youvan (talk) 07:07, 8 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hey Nukeh, if you're interested in contributing to Wikipedia's guiding policies, reading WP:How_to_create_policy would be an excellent place to start. I hope this answered your question. If you still need help, be sure to throw the "help me' tag back on.
Thank you. I followed your suggested link, and the "proposal" is on the Village Pump. - Doug Youvan (talk) 07:38, 8 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I'll bite. Three questions:

  1. Why shouldn't we undo on dead editors?
  2. Given wikipedia's largely anonymous editing cadre, how will we determine who's dead?
  3. What will we do about the odd suicidal troll who decides to end their life as the ultimate 'full stop' on some clanger of an addition that otherwise wouldn't (and shouldn't) have a snowball's chance in hell on wikipedia?

I would therefore like to propose NEBOT -- No Editing Blindfold On Tuesdays, as a far more reasonable addition to wikipedia canon than NUDE. HrafnTalkStalk 09:53, 8 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

This discussion moved to Village Pump, with "Editors" read as plural. - Doug Youvan (talk) 14:39, 8 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
