Read this first[edit]

Deleting the comments of other users from article Talk pages, aside from removal of internal spam, or deleting entire sections of talk pages, is generally considered vandalism. Removing personal attacks is often considered legitimate, and it is considered acceptable to archive an overly long Talk page to a separate file and then remove the text from the main Talk page. The above does not apply to the user's own Talk page, where users generally are permitted to remove and archive comments at their discretion, except in cases of warnings, which they are generally prohibited from removing, especially where the intention of the removal is to mislead other editors. (From WP:VAND). Raja Lon Flattery 08:49, 6 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Users are allowed to remove comments from their talk page as they see fit (as evidenced by the fact that many long-time users do), and that includes insults, irrelevant rants as well as warnings. Editing one's own talk page is not disruptive to the encyclopedia. Of course, removing a warning does not protect you from a later (escalated) warning, nor from a block for repeating the thing you were warned for. The point of a warning is not a mark on someone's "permanent record", a warning is a message to a user to stop behaving in a certain manner. If the user removes said warning, that should be taken as an indication of having read it. Thus, if the user repeats said behavior, it is time for a stronger warning and/or a block. Removing warnings is not in and of itself disruptive. Radiant 22:18, 11 October 2006 (UTC) (from here) Raja Lon Flattery 19:04, 12 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to change username..[edit]

Please do NOT create a new account and then move the userpage, if you do want to change please request it through Wikipedia:Changing username. --WinHunter (talk) 06:09, 9 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry about content loss, Raja Lon Flattery, but if you do not want others to edit a page you're working on, you should place the wip tag in it (and remove it after you're done). If you don't, the page is considered ready for all to see and edit. --Nehwyn 12:43, 1 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

thanks for the tip. Raja Lon Flattery 12:45, 1 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]
You're welcome, I went through the same once. -- Nehwyn 13:01, 1 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for adding that {{unsigned}} tag; I hadn't even noticed the update. -- Jim Douglas (talk) (contribs) 15:03, 13 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned fair use image (Image:Rayden defeated.jpg)[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Rayden defeated.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable under fair use (see our fair use policy).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. I have added a "{{prod}}" template to the article Cold Reality, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but I don't believe it satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and I've explained why in the deletion notice (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may contest the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page. Also, please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. Well, it seems not all agree with you.--Raja Lon Flattery 11:00, 18 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Mortal Kombat epsiodes[edit]

Please look over WP:EPISODE. You'll find that it is likely impossible for those episodes to meet it. They need to remain redirects. If this has anything to do with you creating the articles, see WP:OWN. TTN 14:41, 17 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry, pal. By deleting them, you're practically denying any future improvement.--Raja Lon Flattery 06:58, 18 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Another editor has added the "{{prod}}" template to the article Balance of Power (Mortal Kombat Conquest episode), suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but the editor doesn't believe it satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and has explained why in the article (see also Wikipedia:What Wikipedia is not and Wikipedia:Notability). Please either work to improve the article if the topic is worthy of inclusion in Wikipedia or discuss the relevant issues at its talk page. If you remove the {{prod}} template, the article will not be deleted, but note that it may still be sent to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. AfD nomination of Cold Reality[edit]

I have nominated Cold Reality, an article you created, for deletion. I do not feel that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Cold Reality. Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time. -- Atamachat 00:29, 19 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]
