My apologies.[edit]

I know you are not a vandal in any way, shape, or form. It was a mere accident, by seeing the enormous deletion on Recent changes. Please accept my sincerest apologies, as it was an accident. Regards, NSR77 (Talk|Contribs) 21:43, 17 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

It doesn't matter if SAFC "mostly" refers to Sunderland A.F.C.. A redirect should only be used if SAFC refers exclusively to Sunderland (which it doesn't). Therefore I have reverted it so that Stirling Albion F.C. can be included. I agree that Sunderland are more notable and have therefore moved them to the top of the list. --Jameboy 17:55, 18 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Why?[edit]

With the utmost of respect to you and your decisions, can I ask why you placed a second personal attack warning on User:Jamieclegg12345's talk page, it shows in his contribs that he has only made one edit and that was to the page. Regards - Tellyaddict 16:04, 20 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I made a mistake, someone had put the warning down first and I thought he'd recreated the page earlier. Apologies. Retiono Virginian 16:06, 20 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Its fine, we all make mistakes - I was thinking of how I could make it sound polite and not nasty, I hope you understand! Tellyaddict 16:07, 20 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you! You know your not going to believe this but that is my second barnstar today (lol). Thank you so much and I 'm sure I'll speak to you soon, again - Thanks!!!!! Tellyaddict 16:11, 20 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]
You know something, I was just thinking about awarding you a barnstar earlier, so here it is:

Moved to userpage with thanks --Retiono Virginian 21:39, 20 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks![edit]

Thanks so much for the photograpers barnstar, about me living in England - well with respect I'd prefer not to answer that if you would not mind, however I do live in England. Again thanks so much, you are a very generous user!! . Reagrds - Tellyaddict 16:43, 22 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

It appears that this account is a sock puppet of User:Fatwhales who you gave an indef block. The odds of 2 vandals with names that close from the small town of Kiel, Wisconsin is incredibly slim. All the vandalism from that article appear to be from the same source. My opinion is indef block as a sockpuppet. Royalbroil T : C 20:33, 22 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Copyright problems with Image:M3120Andromeda20Galaxy.jpg[edit]

An image that you uploaded, Image:M3120Andromeda20Galaxy.jpg, has been listed at Wikipedia:Copyright problems because it is a suspected copyright violation. Please look there if you know that the image is legally usable on Wikipedia (you may have to search for the title of the image to find its entry), and then provide the necessary information there and on its page, if you are interested in it not being deleted. Thank you. Dr. Submillimeter 12:42, 24 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]
This image appears to have been taken by an amateur astronomer, not NASA. It came from an amateur astronomer's photo gallery, and ample information is given on how the image was taken with amateur astronomy equipment. Why do you think this is a NASA image? Dr. Submillimeter 12:46, 24 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]
The webpage with the image indicates that the astrophoto was taken near Azle, Texas, not by a space telescope. (Space telescopes have a difficult time imaging the Andromeda Galaxy, mainly because it looks so large.) Also note that not all space agency images are public domain; the European Space Agency places restrictions on the distribution of their images, and the Japanese space agency tends to restrict access to their data. Anyhow, this looks like an honest misunderstanding and not intentional copyright infringement. Dr. Submillimeter 12:52, 24 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

FAC and comments[edit]

Well, because I live in England I have little knowldege of that state but I can help out in other ways and stuff like that. Maybe a good article nomination would be more suitable for the article as unfortunately the current chances of the FAC passing are slim. I also ask - have you ever though of changing your signature so it is enhanced like mine and other editors who have enhanced theirs? I'd be happy to help you do this! Finally, I need your opinion on something, does Tellyaddict (my current sig) look better than Tellyaddict (my old sig)? Or do you think the old one was better as I've recently changed it and I think I'll probably keep this new new one for a while and I was just wondering what you though. Cheers - Tellyaddict 18:45, 24 March 2007 (UTC) [reply]

Thanks for your advice, its appreciated!Tellyaddict 18:51, 24 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Repeated vandalism by 86.135.35.184[edit]

I noticed that you just reverted an edit by 86.135.35.184. (S)he's been trolling for the last hour or so making inappropriate edits. I'm not sure what to do next: I've warned him/her, and he/she seems to want to keep making trouble. Any help you can provide is appreciated! BierHerr 19:11, 24 March 2007 (UTC) Thanks![reply]

Definitely...![edit]

Sure, I'd be happy to help bring this article up to standards, I have not brought many articles up to GA staus though but I did add all the references to the Tyne and Wear Metro article, I'll take a look shortly, cheers! Tellyaddict 19:18, 26 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I've started some work on it, re-wrote the introduction, added the {{in-use}} template, added an infobox, what do you think so far? Tellyaddict 18:54, 27 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Happy editing and Kind Regards from Tellyaddict 19:31, 31 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Mhh, I'm not sure, I only became properly active in December '06 but uploaded a few images in October so I'm not really sure, the department of fun may do something, but people may be fooled for a joke on Wikipedia, also sorry to here about your userpage vandalism.Tellyaddict 19:57, 31 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Lets vandalise it (only kidding - seriosuly though please dont - lol)..Tellyaddict 20:00, 31 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Help Desk??[edit]

Hi its me, I noticed that you removed the Help desk volunteer Userbox and left an edit summary as if you were annoyed about it, can I ask why, I'm sure if you told me I would be able to sort it out for you. Thanks! Tellyaddict 10:58, 3 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Its not for everyone like, I was unsure at first about volunteering there. I was just wondering because I thought you may be annoyed or something and I would have been happy to help, at least you're OK about it. Thanks - Tellyaddict 11:03, 3 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]
This is going to seem like a silly question but just wondering - What is the current time in America> Its approaching quarter past 12 (midday) here.Tellyaddict 11:12, 3 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Quite early lol.Tellyaddict 11:13, 3 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I rank 1974 on that list, however it says I only have 6000 edits, I now have more than 12000, it should be updating so technically I should be about 847th but it only updates once every 3-4 months and edit count isn't everything as they say and its true, I listed myself on Wikipedia:List of non-admins with high edit counts on the 10,000+ but once I get about another 300 I'll be able to add myself too 12,500+. Also if you ever need any graphics images making (see the happy easter and happy editing sign on my userpage) then just tell me and I'll do it ASAP but I could never do it as good as them ads made by Azatoth but if you need a basic one made quick then leave me a note and if you hear another user who wants one with a message on it just ask them to contact me and I'll do it. Cheers - Tellyaddict 17:34, 3 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Looks great! If you want to have a little navigation bar at the top like I've got (not necessarily with all the links - its up to you) then I'd be happy to do that for you or if you want to do it then I can help you, but so far looks great! What else are you planning on doing to it? Tellyaddict 10:03, 4 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]
You say that you're coming home soon, are you coming back to England to live permanently again or just temporarily, also what do you think of my Userpage now? Tellyaddict 19:51, 4 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for your honest advice, so my Userpage with all my userboxes can now be found at User:Tellyaddict/User but a link can be found from User:Tellyaddict (???). Again thanks for your honest advice and I'll see what I am going to do later, cheers! Tellyaddict 17:01, 5 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Cars[edit]

Even if they do keep their articles, they'll still have an entry on the list like now, so stop Nemu 21:42, 3 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

open proxies[edit]

These are, unfortunately, not my area of expertise. Maybe someone at the administrator's noticeboard could help. I'm kind of a technological luddite, so I don't really know how to detect open proxies. Natalie 18:33, 5 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for starting that report. Hopefully someone who knows open proxies will help us. Natalie 18:51, 5 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Mhhh[edit]

Well, I'd give it at least another two months (I know this seems harsh) and get a more varied type of edits, maybe not just reverting vandalism but participating in WP:XFD (I personally do in WP:UCFD and WP:MFD and occasionaly WP:AFD). Often voters look for some participation in none sysop chores like Backlog's. I do a lot of work at Category:Stubs, emboldening title text, wikifying them, cleaning up and placing more specific stubs. I also help out at Category:Uncategorized pages, maybe you could consider that or similar work, have a look at [[Special:Contributions/Tellyaddict|my

Would you like me to review you every week and suggest ways for improvement and give you feedback? I' be more than happy to do this for you.Tellyaddict 16:38, 6 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I've left some comments at you review bit, I hope you are not offended by the last bit its just I know that some RfA voters are quite specific and look for mistakes.Tellyaddict 16:59, 6 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Thats exactly it, but at the end of the day its up to them eventually because they make consensus and they are canny anyway so you have to try to do the right thing, if you want any more reviews (like more than once a week) just say, but I'll do one on the 12 April as well and the 18th etc, also thank you for your very kind comments on my Comments page, they are appreciated! I thought I should also say that their is a problem with that little [hide] button on your Userpage, it doesn't seem to be working, anything I can do to help? Tellyaddict 17:07, 6 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Hey, thats good work! You do know also dont you that the is {{PROD}}, that is when you make a reason for proposed deletion and if the article is not copyedited etc then the tag can be removed but if not it can be safely deleted after five days, you would do this {{subst:prod|your reason here}} . Cheers! Tellyaddict 10:35, 7 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

RfA comments[edit]

Do not strike out others' comments in an RfA as you did here. The validity of a vote is not up to you, and striking it out makes it look as if the editor who made the comment changed his mind. Never change someone's comments in any discussion, but especially not in an RfA. What you did there reflects very badly on your nomination. Kafziel Talk 12:58, 11 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]
