User talk:Subcolour
Subcolour is a term invented by Matthew Abraham (2002) while attending The Art Institute of Philadelphia. In the same year (2002) he then decided to make "subcolour" his media company identity. Matthew Abraham owns all rights to "Subcolour" and it is considered intellectual property and a trademark of Matthew Abraham.
[Both updates for use of the name subColour and Subcolour will be updated here]
The term "subColour" is ment to refer to an underground movement or subCulture.
The name is now a duality for usage rights have been given to Subcolour - an alternative/hardcore/rock/christian band from North Wales, Pennsylvania. The name was legally released (under specific use terms) to Subcolour in October, 2005. Subcolour features Andrew Lombardi (Vocals/Bass), Dan Mugrauer (Vocals/Guitar), Nick Lombardi (Vocals/Drums). www.myspace.com/subcolour
However, subColour remains to be a media company at subcolour.org. The pending, release of this site will include a full porfolio and several subdomain spinnoffs. subColour is currently rebranding it's self with the slogan "subColour is 100% Organic". The phrase has several part meanings, of which not all have been revealed to me. One idea is that subColour will be a media solution for the low income peoples, stat-ups, local community groups and those in need of highly intuitive interactive design.
