You cannot add material from a web site, because he web site is undoubtedly protected by copyright. If you think you can get the holder to release the material to wikipedia under a GFDL license, then follow the procedure at WP:Copyright. Otherwise, the only alternative is to rewrite the material entirely. Not a paraphrase, not a condensation, a total rewrite. DGG 07:42, 17 May 2007 (UTC)

Ants floating

Hi there, is the newly added photograph illustrating rafting or are they dead ants? If the former, then the image is justified, but the latter may not be relevant to the article. Shyamal 03:47, 15 June 2007 (UTC)

Those are live ants I found floating in the pool where I live when I arrived home from work one afternoon recently. They're all clinging together and floating with the help of a leaf or a couple of flower petals. They were definitely alive. :) --Tim Patterson

Thanks for uploading File:Austin Loop360.jpg. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information; to add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia.

Hi. I’m looking to add free-licensed photographs of the various season residences of MTV’s The Real World to the articles for those seasons, so I’m contacting editors whom it appears may live in or near those cities. Do you live in or near Austin, and if so, would you be able to take some high-quality pics of the Austin residence, and upload them here if I give you the location? If you are the copyright holder for this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either

• make a note permitting reuse under the CC-BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
• Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en@wikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here. If you take this step, add {{OTRS pending}} to the file description page to prevent premature deletion.

If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-en@wikimedia.org.
