Request reason:

I do not understand why I am blocked. I am trying to make a page for the famous Vera Groningen venue. There is no commercial interest in making this page. This page already exists in Dutch and is now translated in English. I think it is nice for bands and the audience to read about this venue. I do not see how this is contrary to Wikipedia's policy.

Looking at the René_Veenstra biography, my guess is that UGsociology stands for University of Groningen Sociology Department. So, your username represents a group, not an individual. 331dot could you clarify this is the reason for the block. PhilKnight (talk) 12:14, 27 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]

If you work for the University, and make edits related to the University(such as editing about its professors) the Terms of Use require you to make a formal paid editing disclosure. Please follow the instructions in the block notice to propose a new username that reflects you as an individual(your real name is not required). Please propose a username that is not similar to my username. Do so by following the instructions in the block notice(it makes it easier to change it).
