Joules Before Time

[edit]

Why waste your time and energy? El_C 14:45, 20 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

YZ: I'm guessing that's a rhetorical question? Yolanda Zilwaukee (talk) 15:15, 20 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Not at all, although, granted, it did take you 30 seconds to blank and it took me 30 seconds to un blank those pages. What I'm driving it, madam (sir?), is finding a more productive outlet to air your grievances. Naturally, we cannot consent to blanking an entry such as, say, Inquiry. It is too important of a subject (although much of it is written in a somewhat overspecialized manner and I'm tempted to supplement or supplant with a translation of its more accessible counterpart at the Hebrew Wikipedia, but I digress). Regards, El_C 17:45, 20 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

YZ: A real question, as distinguished from a rhetorical question, is one to which the asker really wants to know the answer. Sadly, all too sadly, the reigning regime of the English Wikipedia permits neither the asking nor the answering of real questions about that regime's real operation. Yolanda Zilwaukee (talk) 18:44, 20 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I am, in fact, a bit curious (and also, in fairness, that fails to touch on my point); but, certainly, it does not bother me that you believe otherwise. El_C 21:12, 20 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

YZ: So let us then e-deavour to answer your question — and we will put off judgement to a time hereafter whether it was a waste of ergs or joules or whatever measure we then choose. Speaking of time, it is where I am a time set aside for Gedankencounters, for thankful recollection and thoughtful reflection on all that comes our way, and so I will be but inter.net.mittent within your site over the next few days. A question for you

[edit]

While you're here, Jon, I notice that the top hit for "Jon Awbrey" on Google is the sockpuppeteer tag on User:Jon Awbrey. I'm guessing that doesn't help your professional reputation any? I've talked to some people, I think we can move the whole lot to User:Jonny Cache instead, if it would help you walk away. Guy (Help!) 21:20, 20 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

YZ: Mr. Guy, Speaking only as one who barely knows the real Mr. Awbrey, but cannot help but admire the man for a' that, I think he would count himself content to remain in your WikiPurgatorio until the Hell that you inflict on the world's less well-tempered souls is finally harrowed of its last victim. Just my guess, you understand. Yolanda Zilwaukee (talk) 22:02, 20 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Jon, don't be silly. Your style is completely characteristic, to pretend to be someone else is patently absurd. But have it your own way. Guy (Help!) 00:16, 21 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

YZ: Non Fingo Hype, Mr. Guy. To say that I barely know the real Mr. Y or the real Ms. Z is a fair enough truth no matter who I be. But if you dream yourself to be the master of anything for which the people I barely know best would trade their ethical and intellectual integrity, then I worry about the people whom you dream you know. Yolanda Zilwaukee (talk) 00:50, 21 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

And you claim not to be Jon Awbrey. Riiiiiiiight. Anyone else here in any doubt? No? Thought not. I made the offer, anyway, it's up to you whether or not to accept it. I'm locking this page now. Guy (Help!) 14:48, 21 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]
