Valley Fair Mall is a 831,667-square-foot (77,264.4 m2) single-level regional shopping center located in West Valley City, Utah. It was constructed in 1970 on the southwest corner of the I-215 belt route and 3500 south in the Salt Lake Valley. Valley Fair Mall hosts approximately 120 in-line shops, a 13 bay/450 seat food court and a nine-screen Cinemark movie theater. As of spring 2009 the site anchors include: Macy's (formerly Meier & Frank and before that ZCMI), JCPenney, Ross Dress for Less and Costco.

In 2005 Satterfield Helm Management, Inc. of Sandy, Utah purchased the mall and in 2006 announced plans for a massive renovation of the center. A new Costco store opened its doors in 2007 as the first part of a four phase redevelopment. Phase II of the redevelopment was completed in June 2009. The following restaurants and retailers are new to the property from July 2009 to the present including: Ross Dress for Less, TGI Fridays, Petco, Deseret Book Distribution Center, Famous Footwear, FootAction, rue21, The Children’s Place, AT&T, Diamond Wireless/Verizon, T Mobile, Café Zupas, Frogurt, In N Out Burger, Jamba Juice, Jimmy John’s Gourmet Subs, NYPD Pizzeria, Pretzelmaker, Smashbuger, Sushi Monster, Sweet Tooth Fairy, TGI Friday’s, The Olive Garden, and Wingers Grill & Bar.

The renovated center will ultimately have 1 million square feet of retail and entertainment space. Summer 2010, an interactive water feature was installed in the Plaza area and a new I-215 frontage road will be completed this fall, with two east-side Mall access points.

Valley Fair Mall has immediate lease-up opportunities with spaces ranging from 800 square feet to upwards of 55,000 square feet. In addition, the plan will reposition the center with a new tenant mix, junior anchors and additional freestanding buildings to create a “town center” feel.
