Writings

Yermolenko's debut book The Storyteller and Philosopher Walter Benjamin and His Time was published in 2011 by Krytyka, with the support of the Ukrainian Scientific Institute of Harvard University. The monograph is dedicated to the work of Walter Benjamin, a German writer and philosopher, sociologist, historical theorist, aesthetician, art critic and literary critic.[5]

In 2015, a second book was published—a collection of philosophical essays—Distant Relatives. The basis of the texts of the collection became the lectures that Yermolenko gave at the Kyiv-Mohyla Academy as part of a course on the philosophy of literature.[6] The book included 12 essays, most of which were published in the pages of the Krytyka magazine.

In 2017, Yermolenko's first novel, Ocean Catcher: The Story of Odysseus, was published by Stary Lev.[7]

In 2018, the book Fluid ideologies. Ideas and Politics in Europe in the 19th and 20th Centuries was published. It is a detailed and unexpected history of ideas in Europe in the 19th and 20th centuries.
