Veritas Storage Foundation, previously known as Veritas Foundation Suite, combines Veritas Volume Manager (VxVM) and Veritas File System (VxFS) to provide a complete solution for online storage management. It is currently developed and maintained by Symantec Corporation.
Veritas Storage Foundations provides:
- Dynamic Storage Tiering (DST)
- Dynamic Multipathing (DMP)
- RAID support

Veritas Storage Foundation is also packaged in bundles such as Veritas Storage Foundation HA, for Databases, for Oracle RAC, and Cluster File System.
