Warren T. Brookes (died 1991) was a longtime journalist with the Boston Herald and the Detroit News and a nationally syndicated columnist.

Biography

In 1991 the Competitive Enterprise Institute established the Warren T. Brookes Journalism Fellowship to identify and train journalists who wish to improve their knowledge of environmental issues and free market economics.[1] The American Legislative Exchange Council (ALEC) awards an annual Warren Brookes Award for Excellence in Journalism.[citation needed]
