Bay Area WikiSalon series
	Periodically, on a last Wednesday evening of the month, wiki and open-source enthusiasts meet up to mingle, munch, collaborate or learn about new projects and ideas. At each WikiSalon we plan a brief formal presentation; some will help orient people new to the wiki/open-source world, with others geared to more experienced people. Many presentations will have broad appeal to non-wiki/non-open-source folks. We hope you will join us! Note: We are extremely inclusive – broadly construed – plus we adhere to the friendly place policies of the Wikimedia Foundation. RSVP

Wikidojo: We started a Wikipedia article on the Ghost Town Royals, a children's baseball program in Oakland.
Are you curious how your peers approach writing a Wikipedia article? This exercise, pioneered by Wikipedians Nikola Kalchev and Vassia Atanassova in 2015 and conducted in many places around the world, helps us all—from first-time wiki users to veteran Wikipedians—share ideas, while building an article together.
