Georgetown University[edit]

Ambassador Name Description/Profile
Kelsey Brannan This fall I will be working for Center for New Designs in Learning and Scholarship (CNDLS) at Georgetown University, on the Commons project (which involves blogs, wikis, and other tools for teaching and learning). I'm beginning my MA at the Communication, Culture & Technology program at Georgetown this fall. This past June I received my BA in Film and Media Studies as an undergraduate at the University of California, Santa Barbara -- so DC is a very new and exciting area to me! I practice Bikram Yoga, love cooking, and play Words with Friends on my iPhone and explore DC's biking trails in my spare time.
Rob Pongsajapan I'm a new media designer for the Center for New Designs in Learning and Scholarship (CNDLS) at Georgetown University, where I work on the Commons project (which involves blogs, wikis, and other tools for teaching and learning). I graduated in 2009 from the Communication, Culture & Technology program at Georgetown and studied business as an undergraduate at Indiana University. I play volleyball, obsess over interface design, and shoot photos in my spare time.
Benjamin Tarsa I am a masters candidate in the Communication, Culture, and Technology program at Georgetown University. In addition to previous work with the Center for New Designs in Learning and Scholarship, I currently work with an education-focused non-profit called the Saylor Foundation.
Steve Fernie I'm the Web Services Coordinator for Georgetown University Library. (I couldn't let Benjamin get away with having the biggest picture.)
Christina I am a recent graduate from the Communication, Culture & Technology program at Georgetown University and currently work at the World Bank on the Microfinance Gateway project. I will serve as a Campus Ambassador to George Washington University.
Anna Kruse I am currently coordinating the Apprenticeship in Teaching program and working on the Commons project at Georgetown University’s Center for New Designs in Learning and Scholarship (CNDLS). I completed my MA at Georgetown in 2009, with the majority of my graduate work focused on the early modern and nineteenth-century literatures of Britain (whenever possible exploring topics related to architecture, domestic life, and material culture). I'll be serving as a Campus Ambassador to Georgetown University.
