Scheduling Facebook posts[edit]

Hello, I'm looking for a bit of advice on how to schedule Facebook posts. I was set the black and white photograph challenge earlier in the week (the one where you post 7 photos of your life in 7 days, with no people in the pictures and no explanation of what the pictures are). However, having started it I realise I'm not going to have access to Facebook for a couple of days, so wanted to schedule my final posts in advance to appear on consecutive days during my absence. The instructions I've found on Google suggest this is possible, but seem to relate to an old version of Facebook. Can anyone help with some up-to-date instructions? Cheers, This is Paul (talk) 08:40, 23 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

More on this. The instructions I have, from March 2017, are as follows:
  1. Start creating your post at the top of your Page's Timeline.
  2. Click the dropdown button next to Publish and select Schedule.
  3. Below Publication, select the date and time when you want the post to publish.
  4. Click Schedule.
All well and good, except...there is no Publish button (do they mean Post?), and more importantly no drop down menu next to it. What I have found is a box marked Edit date, but this only relates to past dates rather than future dates. Do the above instructions relate to an out of date version? If anyone can offer some advice about this it would be much appreciated. Cheers, This is Paul (talk) 00:55, 24 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]
