Welcome to the Coordinator Elections of the IPL 2012, the second and the last election in 2012. Here members of WikiProject Indian Premier League who actively participated throughout (almost) the whole year, will be competing for the Coordinator, Vice Coordinator, and above all, the Lead Coordinator post. Here the roles will be mentioned for each of the posts. The founder, Dipankan001, will not be holding any posts this year. However, to assist and look over the project advancement, he'll sometimes peep in. Also, when the coordinators aren't active, the founder will act in his place until the respective coordinator arrives.

Voting is open to all members of WikiProject IPL. Members are requested to vote only once, and keep this page clutter free.

Roles[edit]

The Lead Coordinator[edit]

  • He/She can make changes to the core matters of WikiProject IPL.
  • He/she can dismiss a coordinator when they are inactive. Intentionally dismissing a coordinator is a bad thing and one should not do it, whatsoever the reason be. If in doubt, ask at the project talk page itself or ask the founder, Dipankan001 personally.
  • Assign tasks of the month.
  • Help distribute the awards for Task of the month.

Coordinator[edit]

  • He/she has to look over the general administration of the project.
  • He/she must check that the project is not inactive.
  • Help distributing the Task of the month award.
  • Invitation of new members to WP:IPL

Vice Coordinator[edit]

  • Award distribution for Task of the Month.
  • Invitation of members to WikiProject IPL.

If you wish to add your name, add a three level heading, your plans for the project, and the positions you can handle.

Vibhijain[edit]

I won't make it much big, I would just like to make this project bigger, more active, and use the popularity of IPL in order to make the related articles on Wikipedia better. I believe that I can handle the LC position, although it really doesn't effects if I get it or not. I would continue to work on IPL related articles anyway. I'd like to help this project become more active than it already is. I have recently frequently worked on articles related to this project, and would continue to do so. I'd like the position of lead coordinator. Over 21,000 edits, 9 GAs, 2 ITN credits, 34 DYKs and about 4000 articles. Many thousand various global edits. Prolific article creator and editor. Thanks! Dear friends, I'd like to dedicate most of my time spent on wiki to IPL as I just love it! When Dipkan started the project, I went on and created assessment templates, userboxes, designed the project which were later modified. Currently, I'm working on 6 lists related to IPL for FL status as well as have edited dozens of articles related to IPL. I'd like to be elected as Coordinator or Vice-coordinator though, Coordinator would be my main aim. I aim to nominate around 7 lists for FL and many GAs related to IPL. I've always been around the project and certainly, enjoy working here other then any other project. Other then this, I've got 3 DYKs, 6 GAs and have reviewed 30 GAN and have 8000 edits.
