Students learn about the experiences of deaf and hard-of-hearing people in various countries around the world, with a particular focus on the contrast between the medical model through which most people view deafness vs. the social/diversity models with which most deaf people understand themselves. Most students will be creating new articles; some will be adding new sections to existing articles.

If you haven't been moving each new section from the sandbox to the mainspace as you've been going along, now is the time to move all sections that you'd like to be considered for grading.  Recall that you are not required to have an entry for all 10 topics, but you must have at least 3 from the 1st five topics and 3 from the 2nd five topics.  You may also petition to include a topic that is not listed, either in place of or in addition to any of the assigned sections.  (The tutorial module is included again here for your convenience; if you've completed it already, there's no need to do it again unless you want a refresher.)
