Zhou Jihong (simplified Chinese: 周继红; traditional Chinese: 周繼紅; pinyin: Zhōu Jìhóng), born 11 January 1965 in Wuhan, Hubei province, China, is a Chinese diver who won the first gold medal for Chinese diving.
At her first Olympic Games in 1984 she won the gold medal in the 10 metre platform event. This is the first gold medal for Chinese diving.[1] She returned to compete at the Barcelona Olympics eight years later, placing fourth in the same event.
In 1998, she became the team leader of the Chinese diving team.[2]
Zhou is married to Tian Bingyi, a former Chinese badminton player and now the coach of Chinese national badminton team.
