Zompa is a village of Arapgir. It has population of about 318 (2000). it had created by Agcik who had come from [Kızıluşağı] Village in Arguvan. First settlement of the village on the last 19th century are estimated. The family first settled in the village is "Ağca" and family. In the village are the ruins of earlier settlements. But to whom belongs is unknown. Village has a very beautiful natural environment. East Arapgir-Divrigi road, north of the Dejde village, south of the village has Kollık-Milla. Livelihoods of the people of the village is animal husbandry. Economic reasons, most of the people have migrated to western cities. Most villagers Kahramanmaras, Nazilli, Istanbul, Nevsehir, Aksaray and are living in Düzce.
