A.A Gill

The information I added was factually correct - he called all of the people groups mentioned rude terms as it states a couple of sections below if you had cared to read the full article. Him being praised for having a "sharp wit" and a "giant among journalists" glorifies someone who is quite frankly a racist and a bigot. Also, the situation that you referenced mentioned adding information to the page of someone who is alive or recently deceased, tragically, A.A Gill passed away from cancer in 2016 so, he does not fit into either one of these categories. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 195.224.158.132 (talk) 09:21, 17 September 2019 (UTC)

Replacing due to edit conflict. Please discuss on the article talk page rather than here. There is no source for him being a racist. Wikipedia is not interested in your opinion that he was a racist and a bigot nor what you think to be factually correct, just what is sourced.SovalValtos (talk) 09:32, 17 September 2019 (UTC)
I considered 2016 recent, but even if that is generally not considered so your edit contained unsourced opinion.SovalValtos (talk) 09:37, 17 September 2019 (UTC)
Read it and weep: "There’s the late AA Gill, who described us as “loquacious, dissemblers, immoral liars, stunted, bigoted, dark, ugly, pugnacious little trolls”, and was reported to the Commission for Racial Equality" - Source, The Guardian, written by Rhiannon Lucy Cosslett on Thu 15 Mar 2018 16.36 GMT — Preceding unsigned comment added by 195.224.158.132 (talk) 09:41, 17 September 2019 (UTC)

September 2019

I'm not doing any disrupting editing in Star parivaar awards. I'm just trying to improve. And I already reliable sources in the page so what's the problem?

Frankly, since you ask User:ABTHEBOSS, I think you are the problem at present. You give good signs of being a valuable editor in future but a present are paying too little regard to the help you have been offered. Too little regard to checking your work as well. Why did you title this September 2015 and not sign? It can often be of benefit that newish editors confine themselves to subjects that they have no direct interest in as then the source becomes paramount. The Teahouse [1] should be a good place for you to ask questions about how to improve your editing. Best wishes.SovalValtos (talk) 20:01, 19 September 2019 (UTC)

Max Lu page

Hi -- just wanted to see if you had anything further for me on this. I haven't had replies to my latest edit on the Talk page for Max Lu's profile and am hoping to resolve it all. Thanks. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Portmeirion18 (talkcontribs) 07:52, 20 September 2019 (UTC)

Sorry forgot to Portmeirion18 (talk) 07:54, 20 September 2019 (UTC)

I think it best Portmeirion18 that you submit two new requests with wording modified in light of the comments on the article's talk page.SovalValtos (talk) 09:52, 20 September 2019 (UTC)
Thanks for your reply. I will try. the problem is I am not 100% clear on what modifications are necessary. The original requests I made seemed quite straightforward to me: the edits were not supported by the citations. However, the comments since then have obscured the matter for me. However, I will resubmit and try to address what seem to be the issues. Portmeirion18 (talk) 10:00, 20 September 2019 (UTC)
Portmeirion18 Two completely separate requests is what I meant. Neutral wording is what is required.SovalValtos (talk) 10:06, 20 September 2019 (UTC)

I do understand that. But I kept the wording extremely neutral, so I don't know where it fell down in that regard. I requested a change to the wording of the edits to reflect what the citations stated. I cannot find any bias contained or reflected in the wording I chose. that's why I am confused. If you can tell me what wording exactly contravened neutrality, I will change it in my new request. thanks! Portmeirion18 (talk) 10:12, 20 September 2019 (UTC)

As a paid/CoI editor I am not going to do your work for you. Did you not see "With regard to the second proposed change I find that confidence votes included no confidence in Max Lu's leadership, which should be given due weight."SovalValtos (talk) 13:51, 22 September 2019 (UTC)

Air Arabia Cairo to Bergamo

Hi

can I know why you undid my edit in Orio al serio - Bergamo Airport, regarding the service in object? Riktetta (talk) 21:14, 15 October 2019 (UTC)

Riktetta The link I put in my edit summary WP:CRYSTAL explains the policy. Airlines change their minds and go bust all the time and so the route may not happen. If independent reliable sources talk about it actually being in existence it might then be worth considering its inclusion.SovalValtos (talk) 01:36, 16 October 2019 (UTC)
@Riktetta: I have restored your edit. Current consensus over at WikiProject Airports is that future routes can be added to destination tables if properly referenced, per "It is appropriate to report discussion and arguments about the prospects for success of future proposals and projects or whether some development will occur, if discussion is properly referenced." in WP:CRYSTAL. Looking at your source, L'Eco di Bergamo is the daily Bergamese newspaper, and I don't see anything wrong with the reference. Thank you for improving the encyclopaedia. SportingFlyer T·C 02:06, 16 October 2019 (UTC)
@SovalValtos: I would like to underline that all the edit related to future begin or end of flying services/routes (that are allowed, anyway) are not to be considered future predictions, if, of course, they are properly referenced (as it was mine). You mentioned that airlines change their minds and go bust all the time. I think that this cannot be used as an excuse for removing info regarding future routes. Of course it can happen (actually very rarely, as per my experience); in this case nothing forbid us, to modify/remove info. I see in your talk page, that this is not the first time you use WP:CRYSTAL as explanation of un-edits. Please review carefully the policy to see wherever it can be applied in airports pages and when not. Available for any additional info, best regards Riktetta (talk) 07:10, 16 October 2019 (UTC)

Hello, you have left a message on our Wikipedia page and we may be blocked from editing. I don't understand what the issue is so can you please help? Thanks Sarah Gowans (talk) 11:58, 29 October 2019 (UTC)

Editing Bishop's Stortford College page

Please can you explain the issues related to our page? There's a message that we may be blocked from editing but I don't understand what the issue is. I thought it had been resolved. Thank you Sarah Gowans (talk) 12:00, 29 October 2019 (UTC)

I have just spent three and a half hours editing the Wikepedia page only to find it all deleted and obviously this is frustrating, especially when it's not clear to me what we need to do. Can the edits I added this morning be put back in or have you deleted them for good? Sarah Gowans (talk) 12:22, 29 October 2019 (UTC)

Sarah Gowans I will respond on your talk page.SovalValtos (talk) 17:23, 29 October 2019 (UTC)
