Antônio Mayer

Antônio Mayer, also know as Toni Mayer is a fictional character of the soap opera Os Mutantes - Caminhos do Coração. He is one of the several mutants in the series and one of the main protagonists.

Outline

Antônio Mayer is the son of Mr. Aristoteles Mayer and brother to Danilo and Rodrigo Mayer, both mutants. Danilo have powers simillar to Toni such super-agility but he also have super-human strenght. Rodrigo has hypnotic powers and is capable of seduce any woman. He is dating Janet Martinelli, other mutant with power of clairvoyance and is very in love with her. Evidenced by when Janet have been bitten and turned into a vampire by Vlad, he is willing to become a vampire himself to be with her. Fortunately she was cured and they reconcille. Toni also is reluctant to have sexual intercourse with Ant Queen because he refused to betrey Janet.

Powers and abilities

Toni is a mutant with power of super-agility capable of outrunning attackes such punchs and shooting. While he is in motion he is probable indestructable being able to evade several attacks. Also aside from his powers Toni is black belt in martial arts and can fight any enemy. Is very hard to see he loose a battle against any enemy unless if he is fighting against a entire band. During a fight with League Evil he take out several members disarmed the werewolf Eric, kicked Metamorpho after the latter was invisible, evade Draco's flames and later extinguish his powers by throwing water on him and deviated from Tele's psychic attacks only to be stopped by Gorgon's mental control and later knocked out by sedative.
