Eruption is a 1997 American film directed by Gwyneth Gibby. It was filmed in Peru for Roger Corman's New Horizons.[1][2]

The film was part of the "disaster boom" that followed the success of Twister.[3]

Premise[edit]

An American photographer ventures into the Amazon rainforest in order to interview the revolutionary leader who opposes an evil Latin American regime.
