Matthew Immers (born 13 November 2000)[1] is a Dutch beach volleyball player. He played at the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris with Steven van de Velde.

Immers teamed up with Yorick de Groot to win a silver medal in beach volleyball at the 2018 Summer Youth Olympics.[2] In 2019 Immers and de Groot won the CEV U20 European Championship in Gothenburg, defeating Germany's Benedikt Sagstetter and Rudy Schneider in the final.[3]

Playing with Stefan Boermans, Immers won his first Beach Pro Tour title in 2022. The event was the Agadir Challenge at the 2022 Volleyball World Beach Pro Tour. Boermans and Immers defeated the Norwegians Hendrik Mol and Mathias Berntsen in the final.[4]

At the 2023 Beach Volleyball European Championships in Vienna Immers played with Steven van de Velde, reaching the quarterfinals and with that, a shared fifth place. They were defeated by the Italian duo Samuele Cottafava and Paolo Nicolai.[5]

At the 2023 Beach Volleyball World Championships in Mexico Immers played again with van de Velde. They were defeated at the round of 16 by their fellow Dutchmen Stefan Boermans and Yorick de Groot who advanced to the quarterfinals.[6] Immers and van de Velde shared a ninth place finish with the other seven teams defeated at that stage.[7]

At the 2023 Volleyball World Beach Pro Tour Immers scored his second tournament victory. This time playing with van de Velde, they won their first Beach Pro Tour title together at the Chiang Mai Challenge in November 2023, defeating the Poles Piotr Kantor and Jakub Zdybek in the final.[8]

At the beach volleyball tournament of the Paris Summer Olympics 2024 Immers and van de Velde made it to the round of 16, which means another shared ninth place finish. They were defeated by the Brazilians Evandro Oliveira and Arthur Lanci.[9]
