From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Hi!  I am William but my friends call me Bill (he/him)

As a naturally curious researcher, I've relied on Wikipedia for longer than I can recall. In 2022, I decided it was time to give back and became a contributor. While researching a topic, I was reading some old newspaper articles in an online archive. Quite by accident, I stumbled upon articles from the 1970s about a young man who became a judge at the age of 17. I found his story so compelling that I chose it for my first contribution.

Since then, I've started several other articles, but I have yet to complete them to a standard ready for submission. Unfortunately, due to the demands of everyday life, finding the time to finish them has been challenging. I hope to have more time for editing when I retire, but that is still several years away. My areas of passion are history and government.

My wish is that all Wikipedia editors familiarize themselves with the three principal core content policies: neutral point of view, verifiability, and no original research before making their contributions.
