BHG Financial, LLC, formerly known as Bankers Healthcare Group[1], is an American company with its corporate headquarters in South Florida, Broward County, in the town of Fort Lauderdale, Florida[2]. The company’s financial headquarters is in Syracuse, New York.[3]
The company provides financial solutions to professionals and financial institutions, as well as risk and regulatory management services and private equity and venture capital valuation processes.[4]
BHG Financial is 49% owned by Pinnacle Financial Partners (PNFP) headquartered in Nashville, Tennessee.[5]
History
[edit]The company was co-founded in 2001 as Bankers Healthcare Group, Inc.[6] under the leadership of co-founding partners Bobby Castro,[7] Eric Castro and Al Crawford.[8]
In February 2015, Pinnacle Financial Partners, acquired a 30 percent interest in BHG for $75 million.[9] In February 2016, Pinnacle purchased an additional 19% of BHG for $144 million worth of cash and stock.[10]
In March 2024, the company appointed Tyler Crawford as its first president.[11]
Founders
[edit]Albert Crawford has a background in securitizations. He met brothers Eric Castro and Robert Castro in 2001, and they formed Bankers Healthcare Group.[4]
