Q1: Should the main image be swapped for an image of Jenner as a woman?
Images are always being updated. As Jenner is a public figure and is also the subject of multiple reality television shows images of her new public image will likely be used as appropriate when they are available. They should also be higher quality and licensed for image use, which paparazzi photos often are not.
Q1b: Vanity Fair has an image of Jenner as a woman; we're already using it in the article. Can't we move it to the infobox?
Per WP:NFCC, copyrighted images may only be used at Wikipedia where the text of the article discusses the image itself. The magazine cover is only appropriate directly next to the text in this article where the magazine cover itself is discussed As a general illustration for the infobox, where there is no accompanying text, we cannot include use the image in that way.
Q2: Why is Jenner in transgender categories?
The fact that Jenner is transgender, and a transgender reality television star is notable and defining and has been discussed in multiple reliable sources. Additionally many LGBT categories are inclusive of sexuality and gender minorities so speculation raised about her sexuality in the interview with Diane Sawyer is already addressed by the umbrella nature of most of those categories used. See Wikipedia:FAQ/Categorization for more information.
Q3: Isn't Jenner now the most famous trans woman in the world?
Like other information about Jenner's transition, including the year of speculation prior to the well-publicized interview aired in April 2015, it's not for Wikipedia to state facts until reliable sources report them, then added to the article with the source. Sources have already noted Jenner as the most famous openly transgender person in America, and that was added to the article. Jenner's gender dysphoria is being reported worldwide so many transgender issues including violence trans women face will also get wider coverage at a time when the trans community is seeing unprecedented visibility.[1] Jenner acknowledges this is part of the reason for being out publicly.[1]
