Powelliphanta marchanti is a rare terrestrial mollusc in the family Rhytididae, endemic to the central North Island of New Zealand.
Powelliphanta marchanti is a large land snail with coloration of yellowish-brown to old-gold, with a reddish-brown tinge towards and within the umbilicus. The dorsal surface and periphery is very sparsely spirally lined in darker brown.
Major diameter is up to 54 mm, and height up to 30 mm.
Powelliphanta marchanti is classified by the New Zealand Department of Conservation as being Serious Decline.
