:{{re|JBW}} given the evidence here, I think this case should be moved to [[Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Mazulu1010]] (or an earlier account if that can be found), and that Polynoir, as well as the other accounts, should be properly tagged as sockpuppets of Mazulu1010. Is there some template to ask for clerk assistance? Polynoir most definitely looks like a sock, but not one of Thetranslaterofhistory. On 27 March 2021, Ymblanter blocked a bunch of accounts with the message "Block evasion: Xwasx12s" (Xwasx12s (talk · contribs) being a confirmed sock of Thetranslaterofhistory; there may be more, I just took this from Ymblanter's 27 March contribs):

All of these accounts removed references to Berbers [1] [2] [3] [4] [5] [6] [7] [8] [9] [10]. Most of these are exactly the same edit, replacing ruled by non-Arabs, probably Berbers and Black Africans with ruled by a Black African dynasty, though they would also sometimes just replace "Berber" with "African" (e.g., here). Another mark of these sock accounts is that they all have only a few edits, almost exclusively at Emirate of Bari. I think that Ymblanter linked them to Xwasx12s because removing references to Berbers is one of the marks of Thetranslaterofhistory. Indeed, one of Thetranslaterofhistory's confirmed socks (Suwanax12 (talk · contribs)) also removed the ruled by non-Arabs, probably Berbers and Black Africans bit at Emirate of Bari [11]. However, note that Suwanax12 entirely removed it, rather then leaving in ruled by a Black African dynasty. This is because while all the sock accounts above are pushing a pro-Black African narrative, Thetranslaterofhistory is pushing a pro-Arab and anti-everything-non-Arab narrative (as can be abundantly seen from the archives). The focus is very different. Also, the sock accounts have very good English, while Thetranslaterofhistory's English is generally very poor (I think they sometimes use an online translation service to improve it a bit, but it's never as fluent and idiomatic as the sock accounts' English). Polynoir, on the other hand, is very clearly related to the sock accounts enumerated above: their very first edit [12] was to reinstate the exact edit the socks were doing, and their stated concern on their user page is to educate readers about the fact that the Emirate of Bari was a European Emirate ruled by Black African Emirs [13].

  1. At least one diff is from the sockmaster (or an account already blocked as a confirmed sockpuppet of the sockmaster), showing the behaviour characteristic of the sockmaster.
  2. At least one diff per suspected sockpuppet, showing the suspected sockpuppet emulating the behaviour of the sockmaster given in the first diff.
  3. In situations where it is not immediately obvious from the diffs what the characteristic behaviour is, a short explanation must be provided. Around one sentence is enough for this.
