I noticed you got a bit upset by people who "had no right to mess with your talk page at will". I just wanted to clarify - it is not your mailbox. It is a reference of all communication that has occured in relation to you on your page. It should not be cleaned up - if you need to, archive it by creating a sub-page, pasting the communications into there and linking to it. ==Non-nude photography==
You've uploaded two images of "non-nude photography" (:Image:NonNudeExample2.jpg and :Image:NonNudeExample1.jpg. I want to check to make sure that:
# You are the copyright holder for the images (usually means you are the photographer)
# You are positive that the people depicted in the images have signed release forms indicating that they don't object to their image being distributed in this manner.
Please indicate the answers to both of these on the image description pages, if you could. Thanks. --24.147.86.187 19:38, 24 February 2007 (UTC)

Are there any sources for this? See the talk page, I'm not able to tell whether this term is really in general usage. Friday (talk) 16:54, 20 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Hey, nice work adding sources there. Unfortunately, we don't generally use random people's blog comments as sources. See Wikipedia:Reliable sources for more info. They key sentence that applies here is At the other end of the reliability scale lie personal websites, weblogs (blogs), bulletin boards, and Usenet posts, which are not acceptable as sources. Rare exceptions may be when a well-known professional person or acknowledged expert in a relevant field has set up a personal website using his or her real name. A couple more links that may help - WP:NOT#Wikipedia_is_not_a_publisher_of_original_thought and no original research. Friday (talk) 21:21, 20 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Verifiability

You wrote: unless you are prepared to identify yourself as an expert on politics, capable of determining this term's value and validity, I suggest you get off your soapbox.

Pardon me, but this is exactly what we do NOT do at Wikipedia. We don't rely on editor's own experiences and expertise- in wikipedia terms that's called "original research" and we don't do that. Instead, we use reputable sources. I don't see that I'm on a soapbox at all, and your suggestion that I get off mine sounds slightly hostile, to be frank. Clearing your "mailbox"
