Akuemon is the sixth and last anime episode in the Lion Books series. It was an OVA release[1]. This episode was never broadcasted on Japanese TV, but instead in a Hong Kong film festival. It is the first anime directed by Makoto Tezuka, son of the famous Osamu Tezuka[2].


Story

The story is about a fox outwitting a hunter and choosing to live out his life in the temple with a squirrel companion.

DVD

It was re-released as a DVD in March 21, 2003 on the same disk as Adachi-ga Hara.
